▌Guangdong’s procuratorial authorities perform the duties of public interest litigation to contribute to the Greater Bay Area development

　　▌On July 1, 2017, the National Development and Reform Commission, the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region signed the Framework Agreement on Deepening Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation in the Development of the Bay Area. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, attended the signing ceremony. On the same day, China’s procuratorial authorities fully performed their duties related to public interest litigation in accordance with the amended Civil Procedure Law and Administrative Litigation Law.

　　2017年7月1日，在习近平总书记的见证下，国家发展改革委和粤港澳三地政府签署了《深化粤港澳合作 推进大湾区建设框架协议》。同日，检察机关依据修改后的民事诉讼法和行政诉讼法，全面履行公益诉讼检察职责。

　　▌Over the past five years, led by the People’s Procuratorate of Guangdong Province, the procuratorial authorities of the nine cities in the Greater Bay Area have actively fulfilled their duties and ensured high-quality procuratorial services, centering around the construction of “the green, beautiful and healthy bay area”. The procuratorates of the nine cities have filed and handled a total of 21,458 public interest litigation cases involving ecological environment, state-owned property, transfer of state-owned land use rights, work safety, personal information safety, etc. They have delivered 16,020 pre-litigation procuratorial suggestions to administrative organs, and brought 1,112 public interest lawsuits to court. Twenty-one cases were listed as national typical cases.

　　五年来，湾区九市检察机关在广东省检察院领导下紧紧围绕“绿色湾区”“美丽湾区”“健康湾区”建设，积极发挥职能作用，主动提供高质量检察服务保障，共立案办理涉及生态环境资源、国有财产、国有土地使用权出让、安全生产、个人信息安全等领域公益诉讼案件21458件，履行诉前程序16020件，提起公益诉讼1112件，入选全国典型案例21件。
